BioPak cutlery is hygienic and odourless.

For customers looking to reduce their carbon footprint at a cost effective price, we offer the PSM range is produced from 80% Plastarch Material (PSM) a biopolymer resin made from starch.  This product is NOT compostable.

The BioPak PLA cutlery range can be composted in an commercial compost facilty, however this option is not widely available in Australia. If the cutlery ends up in landfill, it still has upstream environmental benefits, such as reduced greenhouse gas emissions and reduced dependence on fossil fuels. To gain maximum advantage though, the compost bin (industrial compost) is the recommended destination, completing a cycle by enriching the earth that helped produce it.
